The Boston Bruins have made recent adjustments to their defensive lineup, impacting the Providence Bruins. Defenseman Billy Sweezey has been assigned to Providence after a brief period with the NHL team. Sweezey, a 29-year-old from Hanson, MA, was initially called up on January 16 but returned to Providence the following day to accommodate Hampus Lindholm's activation. During his time with Providence this season, Sweezey has recorded one goal and 11 points in 34 games, boasting a plus-22 rating, the highest among Providence defensemen.
Additionally, the Bruins placed Vladislav Kolyachonok on waivers, leading to his claim by the Dallas Stars. Kolyachonok spent just over a month with the Bruins, participating in two games without registering any points. Originally acquired from Dallas in December due to injuries on the blue line, Kolyachonok's brief tenure highlights the fluid nature of player assignments within the organization.

Great Family Fun
Took my 3 1/2 year old to his first P Bruins game, he loved being able to sit close and see the action. I was hopeful, at his age, he could last a period or two but to my surprise we made it all the way to the final 5 minutes before he wanted to go. I credit that to the game and the snacks. The only downside was the tickets I purchased looked to be aisle seats and when we got there section Section 114 row JJ seats 1&2 were stuck way in the middle not on an aisle. Wish I knew that so I could have bought aisle seats as I desired, but will be back to future games.
